The day had come to make the trek to Cincy to make some little special kiddos happy with a new look to their bedrooms. A small group of three went to work in the home. We met up with a sweet lady, Peggy (and her hubby, Dave) to help get things done in a timely manner. What a successful weekend! Be sure to take a look at the photos below. Also, make sure you visit our Facebook page for videos! (Try clicking on the FB page link) The videos help give you a better feel for what the rooms look like. You will also see and hear a THANK YOU video from the Collins Family. They are thankful to all of you who helped make this happen. May God bless you!
What a blessing this was to us!

Hannah's Room!
Hannah is 16 and is always willing to give a hand with her siblings. She is not only beautiful on the outside but the inside, a great sister. She loves the color purple, so purple it is! The curtains make the room complete (added a little bling to them too!).
She loved it!!
Jeremiah's side of the room!
Jeremiah and his sister, Lizzie share a bedroom. On Jeremiah's side, we put raised stars with texture on the wall so he could touch them and painted them with dots and dashes that mocked the bedding. Subtle, but it gave the room interest and detail. It sounded like a great idea in my head but it was a lot of work, But made easier by my trustee assistant, May, who kept the plaster coming on my plate, we had to move fast. But it was worth it in the end!
The happiest little boy I have ever met. We could all learn a lot from him, he has such a joy for LIFE:)
Lizzie's side of the Room!
The challenge was putting a girl and a boy in the same room and not having it too girly or to boyish. We needed to find colors and bedding that worked together. After putting our heads together, we came up with the perfect plan. Peggy and her husband Dave spent their whole Saturday helping us. Dave was only home for the weekend, he has relocated to TX with a new job and Peggy can't join him until the end of the school year, she is Lizzies aid at school everyday. She also did a fund raiser for this project in Cincinnati at her home. She was able to raise over a $1000 in a silent auction! Amazing people:)
Elaysha's room!
We decided to do Elayshas name last minute saturday morning. Our in house artist, Amy, sketched it and was painting it in minutes! What a gift from God, wow! We found the chandelier at Ikea. Perfect for a small room. We also found the lamps at Ikea. Beautiful for the little princess. The ceiling medallion we painted in the parking lot! Perfect!
Happy Girl with her Mama!
